Simon Bowers Cone Communication

Simon Bowers1Simon Bowers is a public relations and marketing professional with 6+ years of experience. Simon joined the roster at Cone Communication’s Sustainable Business Practices discipline in early 2011 and continues to lend his expertise – CSR strategic planning and report writing, media relations, social media outreach and event planning – to clients such as Nestlé Waters North America and EMC.

Before Cone, Simon spent a year exploring and volunteering throughout Latin America, where he learned first-hand about international nonprofit operations in developing countries. This experience, combined with his passion for environmental issues, ultimately drew him to Cone’s CR team.

Before his trip abroad, Simon spent four years with Publicis Consultants PR in the agency’s Commodity and Branded Food Practice. Simon worked on behalf of clients such as the Hazelnut Council, ZESPRI Kiwifruit and the United Soybean Board, managing media relations, trade show appearances and industry meetings with some of the top food manufacturing companies in the country.

Simon graduated with a B.A. in communications with an emphasis in public relations from Washington State University.
